When Non-Roleplayers Attack!

Tragically, most Warcraft players on roleplaying servers have little respect for the lost art of roleplaying. I can’t help but wonder why such individuals end up on RP servers in the first place. Maybe they picked a server randomly, or maybe they joined the same server as a friend without considering the type. However they end up there, the few who Warcraft players who actually choose to roleplay are often forced to cope with their ignorance.

My sister-in-law happens to be an avid member of one of our server’s roleplaying guilds and was kind enough to share this story with me. To the author’s credit, it’s very well-written, and the manner in which the two characters handled their uninvited guest is absolutely priceless.

It’s unfortunate that there are people like Sephrroth who see fit to try and ruin another player’s fun. All too often, it seems like they succeed. Such is the risk of playing in a persistent world, I suppose. At least Nenuial and Leiral managed to take humor rather than grief from the situation. If only all roleplayers could handle such situations so expertly.
