Awhile back, a fellow D&D-loving coworker linked me to this hilarious collection of RPG motivational posters. The concept here is, “If every gaming concept had a subtitle, what would it be?” If you’re a geek to any degree, there’s something here for you. Seriously, there are 272 posters to look at, all of which make a reference to some RPG and/or geeky genre. There’s Call of Cthulhu, Dungeons & Dragons, World of Darkness, and World of Warcraft, just to name a few. If you don’t find something to laugh at, you’re simply not a geek. Here are a few of my favorites from the collection. Chaotic Neutral - Some people find sanity a little confining. Cthulhu - 1d6 investigators per round. Druid - “Hippy?” Come over here and say that. Elves - Anything you can do, they can do better. Gelatinous Cube - Because there’s always a 10×10-foot room for Jell-O. Int - Not everyone uses Charisma as a dump stat. Paladins - Lawful good and violent about it. Rust Monster - You just had to go and brag about your Armor Class, didn’t you? Wizard - When I’m done reading I will totally kick your ass. Zombies - Who needs friends when you can have loyal undying minions? | ||||
