Buffy the Vampire Slayer

I’ve been a huge fan of the show, pretty much since the first season. The movie was horrible, but the show kicks ass. Of course, I’m not as much of a fan of Buffy herself as I am of Spike. He is cool on so very many levels it almost makes me want to dye my hair blond, don a trench coat, and speak with an English accent. Hats off to James Marsters for turning a witless lacky into a primary character.

Naturally, I was a little disappointed when the show ended, but I’m glad that they kept to the spirit of the show during the last season. Unlike the previous supposed “endings,” there was a satisfying degree of finality and closure. It was great while it lasted. I only hope that another spin-off is soon to follow.
