Little Big Town - Boondocks

I live in the city. I work at a white-collar desk job. Still, I have to admit that I went to a backwater high school in a rural county. Now, I can’t say that I’m proud of it, but I’d be lying if I said it wasn’t a part of who I am. That’s how I feel when I hear Boondocks. The whole “Muddy water runnin’ through my veins” part says it all. You can’t get away from who you are or where you come from. Maybe that’s the whole reason I like any country music at all, much as I might try to deny it. Boondocks by Little Big TownI feel no shame One thing I know I can feel that I feel no shame One thing I know I can taste that honeysuckle I feel no shame One thing I know It’s where I learned about livin’ I feel no shame One thing I know You get a line I’ll get a pole
