I’ve been hard up for good music at work lately. Burning CDs takes too much time and effort, buying them takes too much money, and I’d rather not store MP3s on a work computer. Besides, while I’m working, I’d rather not concentrate on what song I should play next. Thus, I decided to turn to web radio. That’s how I found Dain Bramage. No, it’s not a misspelling. It’s a web radio station that I’ve come to regard as ideal listening. There’s no talk, almost nonexistent commercials, and a sweet online song request system. If I think of a song I’d like to hear, I just search, select, and get to hear it in the lineup in about an hour. Even without my personal input, though, most of the songs are fairly decent. Best of all, I frequently get to hear new songs that I wouldn’t otherwise, since I lack the time to catch them on MTV or VH1. It’s nothing but good, hassle-free music, frankly everything I could want in a radio station. I only wish they were local to my area or I’d listen to them on the way to and from work as well. | ||||
