Microsoft Voice Recognition Demo
The more I see come out of Microsoft nowadays, the more it looks like an empire ready to crumble under its own weight. Maybe I’m just a biased Google fanboy, but this video seems to indicate otherwise. My wife sent it to me at work and it was all I could do to keep from falling out of my chair. Yes, this is a real news broadcast of a live Microsoft product demo. Apparently MSN’s best and brightest couldn’t get the voice recognition software to behave and then had the audacity to turn around and blame their failure on the crowd. Maybe if Microsoft cared more about the quality of their products than their time to market, they wouldn’t be such a laughing stock.
